Emploi culturel : description de l’entreprise et de ses activités
A brief introduction…
With group profit at c£140m in 2016, the next 2-3 years are extremely exciting for us at Colart. The group will be undertaking a transformation from a “paint maker” into a true lifestyle business and will be massively growing our international business. You’re likely to know our brands, Winsor and Newton, Liquitex, Reeves, Snazaroo, Conte a Paris and Lefranc & Bourgois but we’re going so much further than that!
We’re on the hunt for an artistic networker to bring their imagination and strategic mind to join our team at our iconic Charbonnel Boutique in the heart of Paris. We specialise in the world’s finest inks, varnishes, engraving and gilding… but we’re so much more than that!
About the role…
This person will be responsible for maximising Charbonnel’s creative presence in the market outside of just day to day sales… We want you to plan events, build relationships and create long-lasting partnerships – think outside of the box!
Reporting into Colart’s Marketing Director for France, your responsibility will be to really transform the store space into the centre of Paris’s artistic community. We already hold plenty of art fairs and are partnered with the top fine arts school in France – how can we develop these into commercial business ideas?
Ideally you'll be a self-starter who is used to starting projects from scratch. You'll be commercially-savvy and excited working as part of a fast-paced, growing and ever-changing environment. Experience of organising events and networking/building a range of different relationships would be really helpful. Having a massive passion for the arts is a must and a little black book of contacts wouldn't go a-miss either!
Are you an art gallery manager looking for something new? Or a store manager with a massive passion for art? This could be the most exciting move you'll ever make!
