Job Description: Company Manager/ Administrator
The Company Manager/ Administrator will manage the dancers and technicians (for creation periods, international tours, and training programmes) and will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure the smooth running of all Company activity.
Details
• Part-time: 3 days per week
• Contract: 1 year, possibility of extending
• Salary: £25-30K depending on experience, pro rata

Artistic and Production
• Organise and coordinate production & tour logistical arrangements such as studio bookings, auditions, travel, per diems, accommodation, rooming lists and set transport & storage
• Obtain visas, work permits, certificates of sponsorship, A1s and assist in the preparation of relevant tax information to external partners
• Prepare and circulate rehearsal & touring schedules and Company information packs
• Liaise with touring venues, artists, technicians, creatives and collaborators
• Attend meetings, receptions, workshops, auditions, performances and other events, as required
• Manage guest lists for performances on tour as required.
• Organise and manage workshops, talks, digital activities, training programmes and other outreach and education projects.
General Administration
• General administration support, including dealing with general enquiries and file management, sourcing/devising remote office systems
• Schedule and take minutes at company and Board meetings, prepare and send Board papers
• Process financial paperwork and assist in the monitoring and spend management of the budgets
• Work with the team to prepare applications and reporting to the Arts Council, and other funders.
• Maintain databases, gather audience numbers and statistics
• Organise staff training and away days in collaboration with the Artistic Directors
• Assist with marketing and social media as and when required
• Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required of the Company Manager as deemed appropriate by the Producer and Artistic Directors.

Some evening and weekend work may be necessary particularly during rehearsals and performance times.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills, experience, and personal qualities:
Essential
• Strong interest in contemporary dance and HUMANHOOD’s vision
• Experience of working with performing arts projects, including organizing logistics and performing administrative duties
• Experience of working with budgets and financial processes
• Excellent organisation skills & attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload
• Experience of supporting projects offsite and on tour
• Knowledge of visa application processes
• Languages: English and Spanish essential; Catalan and French a bonus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for clear and effective presentation/ design
• IT proficiency, especially in Excel, Word, Power Point programmes
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, including occasional UK & overseas travel as required
